Your Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution Based on Your Astrological Sign

This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm within the community. From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions before the title's release, to trainers developing firm views on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique appearances that highlight their traits, one thought came to mind: How can link this with astrology? The following is inspired by a mix of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as always furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes Aries much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Remain on the good side of either and enjoy a strong ally; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Much like a loyal Taurus, the steadfast Heracross species, both in its standard and Super Form, has assisted numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, both the creature and a Taurus are still battle-oriented, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. The thing about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unabashed passion for treats. Many past Pokédex entries note their fondness for sweet sap and how it employs its horn to collect it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this absolute royalty. It's impossible to tell me this creature is not the soul of every party, offering an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly easy to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an whole open area with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also states its capacity to foresee an opponent's future actions, which seems very similar to a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

Cancer is commonly regarded as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a intense sign known for often becoming wrapped up in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous amount of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. This Pokémon is also known for its capability to make a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was going to select the lion Pokémon for the king of the zodiac? Aside from the reality that it would be far too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being too fabulous (or horrifying, based on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the purple sea star, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Lion brings to the scene. Starmie is also rumored to be broadcasting signals from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly critical is strongly reflected across this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a always surprised expression like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down face that’s just like the emoji a Maiden sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic being, who employs the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how others are emotionally by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a fault – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Abandoned as a doll, it became sentient through pure hatred and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a show. As a Archer myself, the amount of times I’ve called myself some version of a “playful little jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can think of.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the ability to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently believe they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to get in on the beginning of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Aloof air sign Aquarius is possibly the non-flame placement that is most like a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless memes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Spirit/Flame category fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's overall intimidating aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “absorbs negative energy and converts it into strength.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
