Incredible $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a brief run earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time available through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
