Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was attacked in the downtown area on Tuesday afternoon.

Officials stated the forty-year-old presenter was accosted by a trio of assailants, with one began shooting at him before running away.

The motive of the shooting is unknown and no one has been arrested have taken place, as per the official statement.

Law enforcement indicated that Stock was ambushed as he was exiting a building in the vicinity of the Carlton Centre.

He had spent several hours at the site managing the installation of security systems, which had been illegally inhabited by unknown people, it was reported.
